U.S.KAF Treasures from Korea Excursion
The Korea Foundation Washington, D.C. along with Korean Cultural Center Washington D.C. is offering a one-day field trip to visit Philadelphia Museum of Art to see the historical exhibit “Treasures from Korea: Arts and Culture of the Joseon Dynasty, 1392-1910”.
This special program, conducted by the U.S.-Korea Arts Foundation (USKAF), includes a guided tour of the exhibition in Korean and English, lunch and a roundtrip to the museum from Annandale, VA. The tour is offered to Middle and High school students and their parents in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. There will be a cap at 110 participants.
This is a great opportunity for the young Korean community members to deepen their understanding of the Korean culture and history and find their culture roots. Also, it will also be an exciting experience for non-Korean community members to learn about Korea for the first time. There will be another round of tour in May.
