2014-15 Columbia University’s Korean Culture Show: A Tiger’s Tale
The Korea Foundation is pleased to announce that the the application for “2015-2016 Korean Culture Festivals at U.S. Universities Grant” is now open and available online!
Sponsored by the Korea Foundation (KF) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), this grant program is meant to increase the understanding of Korean culture and arts across universities in the United States and to foster friendship among university students from diverse cultures and backgrounds. The selected universities will be awarded with $2,000 (USD) along with promotional materials provided by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) to host a “Korean Culture Festival” to promote various aspects of Korea including film, food, arts, and culture on their campus or in their community. Different from previous years, top scoring universities will receive increased amount of grant to host their “Korean Culture Festival”.
Korea-related/ associated student organizations in universities across the United States are eligible to apply. More information about the program and the application can be found on our website under major program.
The application deadline will be Friday, September 25, 2015 EST.
